8/11/01 Mike's Birthday Party Surprise! It was a surprise alright...Mike surprised us! We all got together and threw Mike a 30th Birthday party at my house. The plan was to tell him that we were all going to see a Lowell Spinners baseball game at 6:00. Hancock was going to pick him up and drive to my house to "pick me up and go to the game"... wink... wink... Well, Hancock called and was panicing because he couldn't find Mike! Eventually, Mike called Tim to tell him that he was near my house because he had just bought a brand new SUV and would just meet him at my house! D'oh! Tim agreed and flew to my house as fast as he could. It turns out that everyone beat Mike to the house and we were all there waiting for him. When he finally showed up (late I might add) we all ran out into the driveway and yelled "Surprise!" What does he do? He thought we were just yelling surprise because the cat was let out of the bag about him buying a new truck! He didn't get what was going on until he saw his sister come walking out of my house! Anway, he was very surprised and we all had a great time.
