Mr. Blair,

I am disgusted at the ridiculous amount of tax which has been added to the cost of petrol and diesel. We now have the most expensive fuel in the whole of europe due solely to this. I and many other people have had enough of this situation and now demand that you reduce the amount of tax by 10 pence a litre.

I shall boycott all service stations and garages every Saturday until a reduction in tax of the above amount has been made.

I wish to receive a reply from you concerning this matter giving a date for the reduction in tax. Failure to reply will force me to keep sending letters and also to reconsider who will have my vote in the forthcoming General Election.

I also wish my local M.P. to speak to you about this matter and voice his concerns. (A copy has been sent to my M.P.)
