About The Winyls
The Winyls states clearly, that honest Rock 'n Roll is still alive and well. The band strikes you with pure rockin' vibes, sounds and attitude.

The first single, Lets Sing, was produced at Tambourine Studios in Malmö, Sweden, by Per Sunding (Cardigans) and Herman Söderström (Swan Lee); perhaps due to this gentle Swedish influence, it went on to hit the Top 5 on the Finnish charts in March 2005 and remained ensconced there for several weeks thereafter, simultaneously receiving ample amounts of radio and video play on the respective national outlets. This happened in a country where English-language roots orientated rock n roll music has not been a dominant chart force after 1970s.

The band is currently working on new material for the second album, and the frontman Leady Winyl promises, Youre gonna rock your socks off and lose some weight!


The Winyls are known for their charismatic and energetic live act. Every gig is a new opportunity to hurt myself, says Leady. We rock like there's no tomorrow and that is how it should be!
