| Written by: Ryan Gage Date written: February 15th 2001 This poem was written about my emotional instability. Walking contradiction here. I change my mind on all the decisions I'm about to make. Decisions were never a strong point for me. My conscience has prevented me from doing some things that I know I should do. There is a part of me inside that wants to tell you how I feel that I want you bad and my passion is for real I have had enough flirting this is driving me insane it's game over now my feelings, I can't contain I think of you all day and dream of you at night every moment spent with you makes me feel alright Flirting turning dangerous Constanly playing with fire friendship put at risk caused by my desire A leap of faith Have to ask you out Scared of what may come fear caused by eternal doubt Women are from venus Men are from Mars I anticipate your rejection left to lick my scars |
