Who are the Wonder Twins Zan and Jayna?

They appeared in the 1977-78 season of the ABC Saturday morning cartoon series Superfriends.
From the planet Exxor came Zan and Jayna, twins, to Earth to annoy the Super Friends whilst simultaneously becoming full fledged super heroes at the fastest rate possible. This set of alien brother and sister could only activate their powers by contact and stating: "Wonder Twin powers activate!" At this point Zan turns into some form of water (examples: glacier, small tidal wave, a bucket of water with his face on it...) and Jayna would biometabolically transform into an animal. Once to help a teenage boy escape a growling grizzly bear Jana turned into a gopher and dug a moat around the bear and Zan turned to water and filled it. We all know that bears can not swim through a foot deep, foot wide creek and the boy escaped. Yes, they were the comic relief, I suppose. They even came with their own sidekick, a pet named Gleek, a space monkey with a 'real stretchy tail', who also happened to be a crappy tag-along liability character that for some reason the rest always brought along. He makes sounds like a digga dong! jigga jigga space filla killa.. hi-za widda hi-zay "Wonder Twin Powers, Activate!"

Plot Summary: Eric Forman is a typical high school student growing up in Wisconsin in 1976 with his family and his friends. Together, they have the same kind of joys and sorrows that just about every teenager has while growing up. This show parodied many of the attitudes, events and fads of the 70's, along with those who grew up at the time and are now in their 30's-40's.

Episode 108: Ramble On: In a romantic moment, Donna presents Eric with a ring a la the promise ring that he gave to her, which broke them up in the first place. This ring is to signify their re-ignited love and promising future together though. Eric is really touched except for one thing -- the ring is the biggest, ugliest and oddest ring he has ever seen in his life. Because he loves Donna so much though, he decides that he's not going to say anything. Note the hilarious Super-Friends parody, with Eric as Superman, Donna as Wonder Woman, Kelso as Batman, Fez as Aquaman, and Hyde, and Jackie as Zan, and Jayna, The Wonder Twins.
