Accomplishments: Randy Savage was the son of wrestler Angelo Poffo, and brother of wrestler ("Leaping") Lanny Poffo. He started wrestling in 1975. After 10 years in the business he joined the WWE in 1985. He named Miss Elizabeth, who was his real life wife, to be his manager. Shortly after that he had won the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Some of his most famous feuds were with George "The Animal" Steele and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. He later became tag team partners with Hulk Hogan. At WrestleMania IV, Hulk Hogan assisted Randy in winning the WWF World Heavyweight Title in the finals of a tournament for the belt. The two had a bitter falling out, and Hogan defeated Savage at WrestleMania V, taking the title from him. He then became the "Macho King", ditching Miss Elizabeth. After losing a retirement match to the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VII, Savage reunited with Elizabeth when she came out to save him from "Sensational" Sherri who was attacking Savage after his loss to Warrior. Later on in the year, Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth got married at Summerslam. Randy Savage would then go on to feud with Ric Flair. The feud culminated at WrestleMania VIII, in a match for the WWF World Title, which Savage won. He left the WWE in 1994, and went to WCW. He feuded with Flair again in WCW. Hulk Hogan then turned on Savage, forming the nWo with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. His last notable feud was with Diamond Dallas Page. In 1999, Savage was resigned with WCW. In retirement, Randy appeared in the movie Spider-Man. He also put out a music album. He challeged Hukl Hogan to a fight in one of his songs on the album, because of real life issues he has with Hogan. The feud with Hulk Hogan is why many believe WWE hasn't contacted, or spoke about Randy Savage. Although Randy hasn't been mentioned on WWE for quite some time, he still had a major role in the evolution of professional wrestling. Savage held quite a few major titles, and has defeated some of the greatest wrestlers to ever live. Also, many say that Randy Savage has the best flying elbow drop that anyone has ever seen!
