As I pawed over an abusive email from a drug addled relic of the 90's grunge aftermath, named Luke, I realized it's probably time to address some of the mail I’ve been getting. I don’t get nearly enough mail, alas most of you apathetic carbon shells lack the balls (or female equivalent) to stand up to me when you disagree and/or the manners to pat me on the back when I do good. So in lieu of a 'proper article', and because I think some of these emails are quite funny, here we go. Dear Wyrm...You are a sexist pig. (Not from Joanne - but lets pretend so) A curse on this penis. I find it amusing that certain women (I said some), try to campaign for equality by actively segregating themselves. Save for the men’s toilets, I believe their is no such thing as a men’s room on campus. Yet,(from what I understand) there is a women’s room, several women’s groups and a women’s rights officer. So the rebuttals come, "Oh Wyrm you bastard"- the men have the world, women need their own 'space' on campus, blah blah. Oh , the men could set up similar groups and have a men’s room, blah blah. You know damn well that if males were to set up similar things they would either be laughed at, beaten up or accused of mocking the plight of women (which has already happened once this year). This small and misguided group of 'women' want equality, yet they seek to achieve it through exclusivity and self segregation. You are the weakest link, GOODBYE! From Darla. Hi Wyrm. Unlike Darla, those with a brain will notice I am rarely biased to one side more than I need be. It's difficult to express strong opinions and still remain totally fair and balanced in doing so. I am 21 years old.. hopefully about 1/4 through my life span. I have experienced many things in my time for the better and the worse, but I would be the first to acknowledge I know virtually nothing. I am a writer and I write in many styles and forms. This little piece of psuedo prose is simply one string of my bow. I also write short stories, used to do poetry and my pet project is an almighty novel, each is structured delivered and underpinned in entirely different manners. In terms of ideology and opinions and association, I’ve never met any nexus peoples in person and I should make it quite clear that I think a lot of the nexus (especially radical/anarchistic spoutings and political activism.) is chalky dog faeces - but such is the double edged sword of 'semi' free press.
