Music has become a big part of my life.
I love all kinds, some more than others,
but this page is about My fave's and about
some bands out there that are, should have
been, and could have been, in the spotlight.

These are a couple of bands, possibly one hit wonders if you will, that I fell for. In fact I seem to fall in love with a lot of bands who never produce more than one or two songs, but you have you love a good one hit wonder.
Flaming Lips-You'll probably remember them best in '94 with their song "Tangerine" after that song they made on more album called "Clouds Taste Metallic" and then they sorta disappeared. They're music influenced the weird side of me and gave me an ear for Radiohead. As far as I know they not only have a new cd out, but have been doing a lot of soundtrack work.
Tripping Daisy-I love this band. I don't know what it is. It's upbeat crazy lyrics. This band I believe was a one hit wonder, with their song "I got a girl" I got their CD and loved all their songs. I wished they had not disappeared. Definatly an album to check out. their album is called "I am an electric firecracker". Here's a picture I was able to find of the band as well.
Murmur-this chick band kicked ass in a whole new light that many may not have clung to. The first song I heard from them was a song called "You Suck". These two girls opened my eyes, and had the girl kick that I was wild about. It's the first song I had heard that directly blamed men for their problems. I liked their band even though I never really got around to buy their album. Now I think they've officially faded away. The oly things you can find about Murmur anymore, are strange Japanese science projects and friends of R.E.M. Trust me, I looked.
Letters for Cleo-Anymore who can sing so quickly and in synch, can catch my ear. Plus the remarkable similarity to her and Joey Adams, one of my favorite actresses, is very cool. This is another band I never really bought myself but have to give graditude to. They faded from the spotlight for awhile but reemerged as powerful as ever in "10 things I hate about you" singing an 80's classic "Cruel to be Kind" they've been upheaved and reborn into the mainstream since then, and back into our hearts.
Dog's Eye View-they only had one song as well. They had that song called "everything falls apart". It was a light happy way of saying life has it's problems but you have fun fixing them. :) They have a very interesting creativity in their video, and catchy tune. all in all I just liked them. They are also going to be hard to find. I found scattered remains of the band on differant personal websites, but mostly you get the Dog's Eye View of actual pets. Although I did pick up this picture of thelead singer
Will add more later...I'm a big One Hit Wonder fan, so I'll make room for them.
Hey check out my Midi File list. It's a couple of bands who rock, and a couple of other goofy midi's I found
