. Okay, here's how it works: write a little blurb about what you've been up to the past fifteen years, send me a photo of yourself and I'll post it here. I'll start it off with myself: after high school, spent a few years in college trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up, realized I really had no idea (this is the Reader's Digest version of the story, obviously). Joined the US Navy, got married to a wonderful woman who flips me crap and gives me grief every single day, spent four years on a nuclear-powered fast attack submarine defending the free world from dirt and oil, and now that I'm out, I work for a big biotech in facilities, making sure everything works properly so we can find the cures for what ails you. In the meantime, I bought my wife a horse, auditioned and was accepted to the Seattle symphony Chorale as a bass (naturally), and working on a memoir of my experiences in the nuclear navy (as well as a few fiction novels in various stages of gestation). I've also been to Africa, Venice and Rome, Hong Kong, and various other places in my random wanderings over this good earth. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. What's your's?? . . I have been married to Mike Seresun for 12 years, we have two beautiful children, who are 6 and 1. My husband works for a local Fire Alarm company and I am a stay at home mom. |
