| I am a student on the brookings robotics team and our grant with NASA ended this last year. We need money to continue our program. There are hundreds of teams in the US, and there are Regional competitions each year. Each team participating gets rules for that year's game, and then gets a total of six weeks to build a robot. In these six weeks each team member learns a lot of useful skills. We learn some programming, electronics, engineering, pneumatics, drive train, and much more. This is not a class but an after school activity. For our team to be able to go this year, we need ten thousand dollars. I put up this website because I was hoping that there would be some people that would be interested in helping us reach our goal of ten thousand dollars. Of course not all the money will come from this site, but we will be doing our own fundraising too. I am just asking for your help. So please donate at least a little to our team. Thank You |
