USS Bonaventure Trailer: A trailer for a potential Star Trek USS Bonaventure movie
USS Bonaventure Promo: Historical Perspective of the progression of ships known as Bonaventure, from the Age of Sail to deep space.
Destruction and Rebirth: Space, Big Bang, Atom explosion, Planet formation & asteroides.
Ultimate Earth: Edited animation clips from the ESA/NASA Hubble Telescope website. Animations feature mainly the Earth and Sun. The music is the creation of"Beta Epsilon". You can download a free mp3 of the soundtrack to this video at www.Last.fm. Sun expands to a Red Giant, a comet orbits the sun then explosively impacts the earth leaving a giant crater, the surface of the earth is in flames and then it is a barren crater filled wasteland.
Red Giant Consumes Earth: The Sun becoming a Red Giant, consumes its planets, and sometimes neighboring stars before exploding, seeding the universe with new stars and the material to form new planets. Expanding view of our solar system followed by the Sun expanding to a Red Giant, consumes an orbiting comet, then the inner planets, is sucked into a black hole.
Dream Land Scheme - Entry: Red Giant Consumes Earth, Animation by ESA/Hubble.
If a Meteor hits the Earth, Japanese Narration: Crash of Asteroid with Japanese narration. Over 7 minutes long. Great closeup of asteroid (apophis), shockwave and explosion as it strikes the surface making a giant crater. Huge ejecta flies miles overhead raining hot molten death as the crater expands with a tsunami announcing it coming. The crater consumes a whole continent leaving it an open sore of pure magma, the ejects a whole hemisphere. The ejecta from orbit rains upon the other half of the planet. Lava and flame consume the rest of the surface. The few remaining structures are engulfed in flames. The oceans evaporate. The earth is a barren wasteland. A few relics remain.

Simulation of an Asteroid hitting Earth: Smaller Asteroid lights up the sky as it passes overhead and detonates destroying a nearby city.
Meteor Strike
Comets and Asteroids Galore: Radar shows hundreds of meteors.
Exploding Starship
Exploding Star
Exploding Star
Death of a Star: 3D video from NASA's Chandra X-Ray Observatory. It shows the explosion of SN 2006gy. An extremely massive star shed some of its outer layers in a large eruption prior to its violent collapse. The explosion then plows into the expelled cooler gas, creating a brilliant light show. Astronomers think Eta Carinae in the Milky Way could explode in the same way at any time.
Asteroid Slam into the Sun
Exploding a Planet: Lasers firing on a planet, then the planet exploding.
End of the World: Thousands of Meteors plus large impacts destroys the surface of the planet.
Star being sucked into Wormhole
Supernova Explosion: A red giant star get sucked into a black hole causing a supernova explosion. 20 seconds.
Black Hole Destroys a Star
Black Hole rips up a Star30 year long film of star going too close to a black hole and getting ripped apart by it.
HeliosphereThe heliosphere is a bubble in space"blown" into the interstellar medium (the hydrogen and helium gas that permeates the galaxy) by the solar wind. Although electrically neutral atoms from interstellar space can penetrate this bubble, virtually all of the material in the heliosphere emanates from the Sun itself.

Solar Flare: Explosion on the sun from NASA
Sun Explodes, view from Earth: You see the sun, then you see it explode, panic ensues
Missile Hits Earth: Missile Hits Earth and planet engulfed in flame then explodes into space
8 Minutes: Tour of Solar System, the Sun explodes, closeup of Earth
Sun Explodes: Sun explodes, consumes the earth
Big Bang: Stellar explosion
Supernova Shockwave
Solar Corona Activity: Close ups of solar flares.
Solar Flare, up close: Sun unleashes tremendous flares expelling hot gas into the Solar System that can affect satellites, astronauts, and power grids on Earth. This close up of an active region on the Sun that produced a powerful X-class flare was captured by the orbiting TRACE satellite. Clicking on the image should bring up a movie that shows the evolution of Active Region 9906 over about four hours. The glowing gas flowing around the relatively stable magnetic field loops above the Sun's photosphere has a temperature of over ten million degrees Celsius. These flows occurred after violently unstable magnetic reconnection events above the Sun produced the flare.

Mars Roving
Cruising an Alien Planet
Baby Black Hole Formation, multiple bursts: When a massive star runs out of fuel, it no longer has the energy to support its mass. The core collapses and forms a black hole. Shockwaves bounce out and obliterate the outer shells of the star. It appears that a newborn black hole in the core somehow re-energizes the explosion again and again, creating multiple bursts all within a few minutes.
