June 24, 2008 was a sad night for the members of Twin Valley Chapter.
For more than 50 years they have met in the Germantown Temple and this
was the last time. They will move to Farmersville.

This is the last four Companions to receive a 25 year pin in this Temple.

We had seven Knights of the York Cross of Honour present.
R.E.C. George Shell, E,C. Earl Gorsuch, R.E.C. Robert Oldfather,
R.E.C. Don Wilcox, E.C. Richard Roush, E,C. Earl Johns and E.C. Dale Evans.

The new officers have been Installed and the other business taken care of.
It is quiet in the West.

It is now quiet in the East.
For so many, not only members but those who have visited and have plesant memories,
it is sad that we won't be back.

Each year the Grand Officers come to the Third District to Install the Officers of our District
This year was no exception. We had a very fine dinner and then they went to work.
As always they did a very fine job.

The members of Twin Valley Chapter worked hard this year and traveled a lot.
For their travels they won the "Traveling Award" which is an Alter Cloth.
Any Chapter that wants one just has to get out and travel.

All your members need is comittment and enthusiasm and want to have a good time.
This Chapter was a team this year and it shows.
CONGRATULATIONS

Not only did they travel, they took time to study.
They won this lamp for having the most members taking the Grand Chapter,
"Resource Course" this year.
E.C. Gallo stated that it is going to look good on the Secretary's desk this year.
