You have the #1 independent music store
in Dallas and known around town as the Prince
of the Compilations, how did you do it? How
did you get in the Game?
George:I know the music.i saw other
guys with music stores across town. I was
a customerand i felt i could do the same thing.
So, I went for it. We were about the same
age so I felt like i would go for it . That
was back in '94.
A lot of folks know T-Town in Texas not
only for having all the rare underground music
but also for DSR(Dirty South Rydas). How did
that come about?
George:Promoting! Promotion is the
number one way tp get out there. You have
to have good marketing and know the right
people. We wanted with some other people as
far as promoting and whatever they promoted
we promoted twice as much.

men. Tum-tum how does it feel to be compared
to the House and to be known as one of the
hottest in DSR?
Tum-Tum: Its cool. Man, me and Fat

the name Tum Tum?
Tum-Tum: (Laughing)Fat ass belly. They

of the group or did it just happen?
George:Yes Their album should drop
about late January. We intend to have Baby
from cash money on there also.
Okay you got the self titled DSR album,
Texas to the World, and the Tum Fat album

George:We've been friends with Flip
and then since they started. We just agreed
that we will keep in touch. They were just
a phone call away. Everybody agreed to keep
it real.

Tum what is it like working with some
of those names?
Tum-Tum:Flip and them cool. They
are not Hollywood like I thought . I still
talk to them on the phone. They're cool.
Now George I am going to give you a tough
question , who do you think is the hottest
in your camp on the mic?

everybody needs to get that paper.

George: DSR
Tum-Tum: Pookie and Lucci. oh and
that nigga Big Chiefa he go off.
What do you think it will take to not
only get DSR moving nationwide but to also
put Dallas on the map?
George:Dallas is slowly making it,
and definatly, DSR will be one of the groups
to put it on the map.
Tum-Tum:Dallas is trying to get there...

other artist?
Tum-Tum:Beef! Its like, if someone
shoots at me or one of my boys, Ive got
my boys back.
What is next for T-town music and DSR
for the 02-03 year?
