DeSimone files application #4? 5? ..losing track to the NJDEP
We thought the five page denial (www.geocities.com/thirdriverbank/news1.html) the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) issued in July offered little hope for development on this floodplain.
Were we wrong!
A notice in this week's newspaper says John DeSimone is asking for wetland permits from the NJDEP to build 38 townhomes in the forest on Liongate.
This is the project located on approximately five acres along side Liongate Drive owned by Tilter Realty (Patty Copek and Marie Ruvo).

The Sunday fundraiser becomes even more important as we look to Joe Skupien and other advisors for help on this application while also tackling the Fefferman(Scientific glass) project.
Chanteuse Janet Villas will keep us in the mood on Sunday Oct. 22, from 4-7 pm at 96 Lakeview Terrace (north of Bay, east of Broad).
Those unable to attend but who would like to contribute can send donations payable to the Bloomfield Third Riverbank Assocation to Box 1443, Bloomfield, NJ. 07003.
Thanks for your support.
