Two things:
First: The NJDEP has followed the Bloomfield Board of Health's footsteps and issued a summons to Fefferman/Boswell to fix the contaminated piles in 5 days or else (not sure what the "else" is).
Second:
Please take five minutes and send a letter to the NJDEP regarding DeSimone's latest application for stream encroachment permit (see the prior post).
• Have you experienced flooding from the Third River? Please detail your experience. Any documentation (bills/FEMA premiums) or photos would also be helpful.
• Others concerned about this project? Fearful higher water levels may spill into your house? Witnessed prior flood events? Just plan concerned? Send a note to:
NJDEP, Land Use Regulation Program, P.O. box 439, 501 East State St., Trenton, N.J. 08625-0439. Attn: Morris County Section Chief.
