"Consider it all joy, my brethren when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." (James 1:2-4 NASB)

Testing our faith gives us spiritual endurance. In turn, this endurance leads to spiritual maturity, where we grow to be more perfect, and complete spiritual development. So when trials come your way, thank God and receive them with joy for they make you stronger in Him. However, be capful and keep God in your sights as taking trials on by yourself can hinder your relationship with God. -CP
