The Same Hill
I see him wander lonley through the crowd
Going up and down as though trudging hills
As I watch him I feel so proud
I pause, I watch, I stay so still

I stand beside him in the breeze
I ask him to stay forever please

I look at his face and see it shine
He's found his way
Starts again to walk the line
Now and then I see him stray
I know not what to say or pray

Morning will bring a new day
And hopefully we will see
A way out of this - our plea
To get on our way
Being good company!

When often on the coach I lie
In my depressed mood
I toss, I turn, I begin to cry
Then feel such solitude
And my heart with pleasure fills
I realize we're trudging the same hills

My friend
One day like a storm she did appear
and little by little her tenderness did unfold,
As if she knew that I would allow her near,
But then she hides and becomes so cold.

And with her growth beauty is seen,
to me a good friend she has been,
Although at times she is oppressed,
I know she does her very best.

Our sharing makes us feel so bare,
But with the risk we grow,
My friend she is always fare,
Even when she's low.

She beams so brightly,
Like a star from above,
Our friendship so mighty,
We share such love.

Only we two
Know this is true
You and I, My best friend!
We Know!
