Description: The easiest rush is in the Bronze Age.
Step | Instructions |
---|---|
1 | Take your first villager and build a house. Take the other two villagers and make them build a market. Make a new villager at the town center. While he is being produced, you three starting villagers should be finishing up. When they are finished take the house villager and continue to build houses with him. |
2 | When your new villager is finished make him build a dock or granary (depending on your location near fish or berries). While he is doing this make another villager and research the wheel at the market. Build between three and five archery ranges with the villager when he comes out. Make another villager to help him and take the villager that you used to build a dock to also help him (assuming that you used the villager to build a dock and not a granary). If you built a granary then make sure that you made him collect berries. Meanwhile, make a fishing ship (assuming that you built a dock). Continue to produce villagers and put on food or wood (whichever you need most). Keep in mind that chariot archers cost 70 wood and 40 food so if you build the maximum necessary chariot archers to rush with (five) then that will be 350 wood and 200 food. Make sure you place villagers accordingly to meat this need as soon as possible. |
3 | The object of the rush is to take a small army and attack as fast as possible to catch your opponent off guard. Try to target villagers to hinder his ability to produce resources and build an army to counter your attack, and also target houses so he can not produce more people. |
4 | If it is a successful rush then you will catch the enemy off guard and are almost guaranteed a quick and easy victory!!! If a rush is not successful then it will put a strain on your economy and it may take you time to recover, time is very important in this game. |
5 | Ways to counter: Any rush can be countered by spreading your civ. across the map. It can also be countered by placing walls on important crossways to hinder the rushers movement. Archers are ineffective against walls and will buy you time to create a larger army than the rusher has. Also you can place towers in your civ. It is important to place them in vulnerable areas such as near your group of villagers that collect wood. |
