The Babylonians have a +30% tower and wall hit points advantage. They also have a +30% stone mining. These two bonuses make defending your base a lot easier. Think about it. First the enemy has to get through your walls but since you will have towers behind your walls, which will most likely take out most of his chariots in a early bronze rush. When you reach bronze or iron you should make a lot of priests mainly because the Babylonians have a +30% priest rejuvenation rate and because the Babylonians don't have a lot of iron age troops. A bronze age rush would consist of your cavalry and chariots just like the Shang. Although I would not reccomend for you to use the Babylonians because of their lack of good bronze age troops. Your best bet if you are using them is to go for an all out bronze rush. This like I said before should consist of mostly cavs and chariots. However you might want to throw in a few catapults to take down those pesky walls and towers. If you can't finish you opponents in the early bronze rush, my advice is to try one more time before you iron. However, this time, your troops should consist of cavalry, catapults, and most importantly, composite bowmen. They are very useful if you can deploy a group of them correctly. |
