Age Of Empires Strategy - Civs - Yamato

Bonuses:

Strategy
The Yamato are favoured for their cavalry and horse archers. This is because their cavalry and horse archers cost 25% less then normal cavalry and horse archers. This means that you will be able to produce more cavalry then anyone else can once you reach bronze. While although the hoplites are the best unit during bronze age, a group of 10 cavs can really clean house. They can slice through just about anything i.e. chariots. This is important because most players go for a whole bunch of chariots as their attack force during bronze age. Now if you were able to produce troops like cavalry which are much stronger then chariots and produce them at a cheaper cost this pretty much means that you will be invincible during the bronze age since most players don't make hoplites in the bronze age, you are pretty much safe from them. So this is the strategy to use in bronze age. Since the Yamato villiagers are 30% faster, you will be able to reach bronze age faster then the other players if you know what you are doing that is. So if you are able to bronze faster and produce cavalry at a cheaper cost therefore resulting in more cavs, then you can pretty much rush all you opponents at once and win the game. But if you are not able to finish them in bronze age and you iron, well you can attack with a whole bunch of composite bowmen which makes up for the lost of catapults, and a whole bunch of heavy cavalry. Also try to use their navy. The Yamatoes have all of the ship upgrades and have an +30% ship hit points. So you should try to use their ship bonus to your advantage.
