May 25, 1999 - TIC Gamea v0.8.0b has been released! There are many important new features and bug fixes in this version. There will probably be one more releases until the final full release.
May 21, 1999 - Trial Central has posted 8 screenshots which were sent in by Cor_Duke, a beta tester and creator of the Jeka Maps. Be sure to head over there to check them out. These are the "real screenshots", meaning it wasn't set up by Microsoft.
The Turks Civilization Showcase has also been released.
May 18, 1999 - TIC AOE DB V2.2.5R2 has just been released. Click here to get the new version. There are some new features and changes in this version.
May 17, 1999 - Stay tuned to this site for the release of a new version of TIC AOE Downloads Database. It's getting ready for the release of Age Of Kings.
May 8, 1999 - TIC Gamea v0.6.5b has been released! There are lots of new features in this version, including adding your own games! This program will now be more focused on its content than its features.

May 5, 1999 - I have been busy lately so sorry for the lack of updates. During this time, the MO Maps have been released. I have also been able to work on a new version of TIC Gamea, which will allow you to add games and configure them! If you don't know what TIC Gamea is, click here to find out. And does something sound different? I've decided to take off the music of this main page...for now.
April 25, 1999 - TIC Gamea has been updated! Click Here to grab v0.3.0b. There are plenty of new features in this version.
April 25, 1999 - I've made a new program called Simple AOE. It uses Campaign Builder and simplifies it. This can be found here.

April 18, 1999 - Finally! New Entry Music! This is my own composition using Microsoft Music Producer. I may change the entry music every two weeks, so you don't get bored.
Some other news, I'm working on a new version of TIC Gamea. What do you think of this program? Please give me your comments.
April 14, 1999 - There is a little change to the page you're viewing right now. There is a new section called Featured Downloads. These are very popular downloads and is highly recommended. Also the Exclusives and Non-AOE Related Section (Renamed to Network) have been moved to the left.
April 12, 1999 - My new project, TIC Gamea, has been released for it's first public beta. This new program lists game information including cheats and walkthroughs. Please test this out and report to me any errors. This program's home is here.
April 10, 1999 - Real or Unreal? Rise Of Rome Trial Central is giving away 3 copies of Age Of Empires. I don't know if this is real but it's worth a try anyway.
April 9, 1999 - TIC AOE Downloads Database V2.2.5 has been released! There are many new features of this new version including opening the browser from the program. The program and its source can be downloaded here.

March 30, 1999 - Also on March 29, 1999. This site reached 15,000 hits.
March 30, 1999 - A new version of TIC AOE Downloads Database is in the works. The new version will allow you to open your browser straight from the program instead of copying and pasting the URL. Other new features will also be added. A beta has been released to staff members for testing.
March 24, 1999 - Rise Of Rome 3 Maps are out. This 1MB zip is full of DeathMatch maps.
March 21, 1999 - Jeka Maps 2 are out. It's a big download, 1.85MB, but it's worth it. Pardon the mistake on the name of this download on the last update.
March 21, 1999 - There are a couple of updates today. First, after downloading IE5, I found my mail not working with Outlook Express so I will have to get mail via Yahoo! Mail (nothing to worry about when sending mail). Next, the Jeka 2 Maps are out. I will upload them as soon as I can.
March 19, 1999 - Welcome to the new upgraded site! This site now has no-frames! Unfortunately, this main page still does not fit in for a 600*480 resolution, but all other pages do! The design isn't a major change. Actually, there wasn't much change in the sub-pages, the major changes were to the sub-sections. I can't list all the new features and changes. Just surf around the site and have fun!
Here's an incomplete list of things that are new on this site:

- To replace the frames, the left navigation bar with text will appear on all of the sub-sections(not including separate pages).

Here's a couple of things that changed:
- The dead links are now alive again!
- I was going to obtain new Entry music, but...I didn't have enough time to.
Now that this site is done with, I'm going to be moving on to other projects. This does not mean that I will not update this page anymore, just means less updates. You will still be informed of new downloads. The updates will increase when it is nearing the release of Age Of Kings. Also, did you download Internet Explorer 5.0 yet?

- Wow! I'm almost finished the new version of this page! I thought it would definitely take longer than this. This could be the last news update before the big upgrade. The new version won't have a very large change but will feature a new design.March 14, 1999 - I need to know if you like the music on this page. If not, I'm going to take it off for the next version. Go to the E-Mail Form and e-mail me your answer. Your opinion counts!
Some other non-aoe related news. XOOM will be offering unlimited space hosting beginning March 15. In return, they will post up a bar 35 pixels in height on every member page.
March 13, 1999 - Return of AOEGC?
Newcomers to Age Of Empires won't know what that is. It was a site that distributed maps
such as the september and october map packs. It closed last year for some repairs but
never opened. I've contacted Taz, webmaster of AOEGC, and he said it might be
re-open again!
Other news, I am busily working on new projects(some have nothing to do with this site). The major project for this site is to redesign it. There is no current release date for this new version of my site, but within the next one to two month.
March 12, 1999 - Wow! This site has been online now for half a year now. I've started to rearrange this site again. There will probably be a new version of this page coming out in the future. Perhaps as soon as this month.
March 6, 1999 - Cor_Duke, author of the Jeka Maps, has created his own site. The URL is http://infocentral.hypermart.net/. It can also be found on the links page.
March 4, 1999 - RoR2Maps - the self extracting archive - can now be downloaded here.

March 3, 1999 - Sorry for not releasing the RoR2Maps yesterday. Since I can't seem to download the RoR2Maps from the two sites it's avaliable on, I can't released it. I will release it when I am actually able to download the file completely.
March 1, 1999 - I've upgraded my HitBox to a HitBox Tracker. All my stats had to be reset to do this. I will add the RoR2Maps tomorrow.
March 1, 1999 - RoR2Maps are out but I am having difficulties downloading them. I have sent a request for the download to the author. If you want to try downloading yourself, go to Rise Of Rome Trial Central. When I receive the download, I will post it up on this site.

- I have received some news about the Idol maps coming out next week. This is not confirmed yet.Also I've added a new banner at the bottom of this news section.
February 25, 1999 - TIC AOE Downloads Database V2.2.0 has been released. Click Here to get it. Since there weren't any new downloads, there aren't any download updates. There are only some function updates.
February 24, 1999 - Microsoft GameStock is holding a contest. Prizes include the beta testing of Age Of Kings! There are also updated screenshots for the game.
February 24, 1999 - The new version of the Downloads Database is complete. It will probably released tomorrow. It is currently under some tests.
February 20, 1999 - The new Strategy page has been released. This main design for this site is finished. I will begin to work on the This Is Cool:Game Page now. This page will still be updated constantly as downloads are released. The FAQ and links are also updated.
Can you believe it? Downloads DB V2.2.0 is almost finished(and I only released the V2.1.0 this morning! There is still no schedule date of release. It might come sometime in March. Also after this released, it will probably be one of the last minor updates to the program. It will only go under revisions to add downloads. Also the code will come out after this released of the program. It may not be interesting but it will be released anyways.
February 20, 1999 - The new version of the TIC AOE Downloads Database has been released!
Another version is already under developement. In fact, a beta has already come out for
testing. It is compiled under P-Code so the .exe file will take less HD space.
If this version does not work, please tell me. It might be because you will need the
Visual Basic Run Time Files. I will get them up on my site in a few days.
I hope you enjoy the new version of the program.
I have plans of updating the strategies page. I've already made the layout, I am now applying the code. This might take a while though. After this, this site's main design will be complete.
February 17, 1999 - I have completely cleaned out my
mailbox, deleting everything(except one folder with important mail) while keeping a
backup. Now I finally have some C: hard drive space to work with.
That isn't the only news today, I am planning to make some new sections. I can't tell you
what they are yet. Also I finally was able to compile the new version of TIC AOE Downloads
Database. It will be released on February 20, 1999.
February 16, 1999 - A new Rise Of Rome Trial campaign has
been released. It is titled Island Conflict.
I am also having trouble compiling the new version of the Downloads Database. The coding
is done and it runs when I tested it but it freezes when I go to make project. The new
version will not be released until I solve this problem.
February 13, 1999 - I have been working on the new version of TIC AOE Downloads Database. This will come out approximately February 20, 1999. I'm also working on other Visual Basic projects and Age Of Empires projects. In this month, I will probably be very busy.
February 8, 1999 - A new Rise Of Rome campaign, Island Of War, has just been released. Another Rise Of Rome campaign may be released very soon. I am still working on the campaign which this site will release. I am still busy so it will take quite a while.
February 4, 1999 - After many ups and downs, my site has finally reached 10,000 hits. What a milestone!
Also If you haven't realized, the counter is now not visible in this page. It is still functioning but at the very first index page. You are not able to see it.
February 2, 1999 - Three new Rise Of Rome Campaigns have been released. They are Catapult Fodder ROR, Jungle River, and Mediterranean Conquest.
I'm working on a new strategy page and a new survey. They will be avaliable sometime in the future.
February 1, 1999 - The new downloads
page is finally up. It is now listed alphabetically and feature one more Rise Of Rome
Campaign, A Combat Showcase(listed under Rise Of Rome
Campaign). With the new released, the new version of the Downloads Database is also released. It might not
work on every computer.
Here is a very interesting stat. My site has now downloads in every letter of the alphabet
except H, Q, W, X, Y, and Z.
Also, finally, for all this time, I have gotten the full version of Age Of Empires. I will be busy during this week so I can't work on any maps or campaigns. Something else that will come soon is a survey for my page.

January 30, 1999
- The new downloads page is nearing it's release. I have not uploaded the files but I am testing them on my computer. When it is released, I will have some more campaigns(including Rise Of Rome) up.January 26, 1999 - I guess it's about time to change the poll question. So I finally changed it. First, here are the results of the last question:

The new poll question is about if the original Age Of Empires is getting wiped out by the new Rise Of Rome.
As you may see, there is a change of style this page. It is very small and was done to save up space and it looks good. Also once this site gets 10,000 hits, the counter will disappear. It is still working but it's going to be on the index page and it won't be visible. I'm doing this because I can't get some stats because the counter is on this page which is the second page on the site. At that time, if you wanted to see how my site was doing, you would have to go to the World1000 Stats.
January 25, 1999 - The new ClanWorld domain has been activated. My mirror site is now http://thisiscool.clanworld.org/aoe/. Also the new downloads page should be avaliable in a weeks time. The new version of the downloads database will also be released with it.
January 24, 1999 - The February maps have been released for both games. Download them for Age Of Empires or Rise Of Rome.
January 20, 1999 - My FTP is finally working again. Here are some news that were piled up over the days:
I now have many downloads and a downloads database for all of them. So it's time

I've already started on the project and hope to finish sometime in the next couple of
weeks.
I've made a new style of this index page. It still looks pretty much the same though. I know it doesn't look that good. There will be a major update to this page soon.
The new downloads database might be released for public beta. Some of my staff members said it did not work on their computers.
I have been experiencing FTP errors over the last couple of days. I also have to say that this site has a new staff member, Goldenfalc. He is experienced in HTML and can help me make my web pages. Also I have some work to do(not for this site) during this and maybe the next week. This means I will be very busy.
January 17, 1999 - I've just added the Chaotic Laser Wars map in
the Rise Of Rome Downloads Section. I am also working on
something for this page.
If you had trouble accessing this page in the morning, it is because my web host just
upgraded their server and I had to reactivate everything.
January 16, 1999 - I've finished the new version of TIC AOE Downloads Database. It's currently going under some beta tests. It seems that I can't use the font I'm currently using because many computers don't have the font since it's a printer font.

- Whoa! We have a triple news bulletin today! This one is about the release of RoR1Maps. They are avaliable for download in the Rise Of Rome Downloads section. I have asked permission for them which I will get a response some time soon.January 14, 1999 - Also I came home early from school today
because there was a big, let me emphasize big snowstorm. I don't have school
tomorrow so I will be playing in the Rise Of Rome Trial Room if I can finally connect to
the Internet. I've been having trouble with my connection because of this storm so I might
not be connected that often.
Also I just cleaned out my inbox and I noticed how many mails I got about question that
you are able to get from this site. I will still answer these questions but I will warn
you to look on my site the next time. Technical problems, such as the maps don't work,
will not be counted.
January 14, 1999 - I'm making a new version of TIC AOE Downloads Database with a much better user interface than the V1.0.0. It is almost done. I've sent it to the Staff Members to test. Also to ACERPlus, I'm not sure which e-mail you wanted me to send this to. I sent it to your AOL e-mail address.

January 6, 1999 - Alright! The search engine located on the bottom section of this page has just been fixed! There were some configuration errors with the JavaScript and now the search engine works fine!
January 6, 1999 - I've just added a new Age Of Empires campaign by Jonny2284. It is located in the Age Of Empires Campaigns section. Also the search engine was updated again for the new V2.05 pages.
January 5, 1999 - I'm working on a small project for this page. It might take quite a while to finish. All I can tell you now is that it involves the downloads on this page. Also I might be adding some CGI to the ClanWorld mirror since they support it.
