Acceptance Speech's Martina's acceptance speech after she won Female Vocalist of the Year award (CMA Awards 2002) Martina says holding back tears: “Oh... I was not prepared for this emotion that I'm feeling. It's just... so amazing that I get to live this dream. And I'm so grateful to everybody who worked so hard to make it happen. And I'm really especially happy because my mom and dad are here tonight... (Martina cries even more and the audience applauds) And it just means so much to share this with them because they've... just given me everything all my life and encouraged me and gave me unconditional love and support. And I just... I wanna thank the fans and country radio and CMT... My husband John, my partner... My manager Bruce Allen, RCA Records, Joe Gelante, everybody... Thank you so much, thank you!
