Pawn Broker By Day, Ghost-helper By Night

Right here in Birmingham is a man that works at a pawn shop in the day time. However, at night he says that he helps ghosts, spirits of now deceased people, give their messages to the world and helps them move on to a "higher plane". His name is Robert Thomason. He says that although these people are now dead physically, they still have not found peace, and have messages that they want to give to mankind. He strolls through graveyards and cemeteries seeing if one of the spirits have a message that they want to give. On one occasion as he holds on to a tombstone of a deceased lady, he says "the woman sends a message that we never die; that our spirits live on; she sends reassurance that she is at peace and happy". These messages he says are very important. Once he helps them give out their message, or move on to a higher plane, the ghosts arrive at peace.

"They’re everywhere", Thomason says, referring to these spirits. On the flip side of this, he believes those spirits or ghosts who haven’t got their message out or have moved on to a higher plane, can occasionally cause trouble. Thomason admits that one time a "lady"ghost at his home in Roebuck, who had lived in the house previously, troubled the women friends that he brought to his house; until he helped her find peace by helping her move on to a higher plane, and from then on she never troubled his visitors again.

But my question is: do ghosts really exist? Or do people who have died still have the ability to haunt or trouble the living as Thomason says? And then the real big question: if it isn’t spirits of dead people who are saying and doing these things, then who or what is talking to Thomason and giving him these messages?

Of course, the Bible answers these questions very clearly and plainly. The Bible teaches that once a person dies, that’s it. There is no way for them to come back and to communicate with mankind, for they have been judged and sentenced. Heb.9:27, Lk.16:26 So what or who is it that is communicating with Thomason and giving him these "important" messages? Well, I think it’s easy to see who they are from the messages that they give. Who first said that man shall not die? Satan. Who would want man to think that all people will find peace when they die, without having to believe in a certain Person? Satan. For the fact of the matter is, demons have the ability to communicate with mankind and they are in an all out war against Jesus. However, they don’t want man to think that they’re demons or evil, or out to go against Jesus or the Bible. They want to make it appear as if they’re spirits of dead people who have just passed away with unfinished business and that they really do have mankind best interests in mind. When in all actuality, they don’t.

They just want to deceive man into thinking that he doesn’t need Jesus in order to enter heaven.

And what a terrible deception that is. St. Jn.14:6
