I have not been diagnosed yet. If I do have MS I think I probably have had early attacks that were milder. I have had vision loss along with migraines for years.

I enjoyed visiting your site. I believe that the body can heal itself. I have had MS for 13 years. I have tried many things - Yoga, Dietary Changes, Meditation, Nutritional Supplementation, Homeopathy, etc.

They all helped to a point - but no further. I always thought that something was missing. Then I met a friend on an MS board who introduced me to the concept of glyconutritionals. She has been symptom free since 1997.

She put me in touch with others who have had similar results. I researched glyconutritionals and decided to try them. It's only been a few months but I have already seen some improvement in my symptoms. I hope I can be as successful as they are and that I will regain my life as I once knew it.

What a great web page this is. Thank you for sharing your talent. You give me hope and best of all inspiration.

I have Secondary/Progressive MS. My family, support network, and my work keep me going. If I try to keep busy, disregarding the fatigue, I find it keeps my thoughts off the MS.

But it is sure depressing in the a.m. to wake up and see a wheelchair besid the bed. The bright side is that once my leg brace gets on, I can walk with use of a cane and try to make the most of the day.

I have Chronic/Progressive MS and seem to be getting more progressive! None of the meds my doctor has prescribed has helped, but rather has made me feel so tired I can't function or has made me worse.

I'm hanging on and keep working to keep me focused on life and not on how bad I feel and what I can't do.

After a busy day of stacking firewood, I found that I couldn't use my L arm. A trip to the doc yielded a diagnosis of bursitis, a sling, and 3 week dose of Motrin 3 times a day.

The sx went away, not to return until 5 years later, in 1994 when I was diagnosed with MS. In the meantime, I've had minimal symptoms with numbness of legs that only lasted a few days, I've seen 4 different neurologists, but none in the past 2 1/2 years.

In mid June of this year, it was like MS said, "Hey, looks like you forgot about me. Just to remind you that I'm always here, let's take away your feeling in the right side of your body, and make you tired and fuzzy-headed."

That's where I'm at now. I had my first SoluMedrol treatment today by a local internal med doc and have an appt with (I hope) the best neurologist in KC on August 10 to discuss and start one of the A,B, or C meds.

I'm married, a Registered Nurse, and have a 6 year old son. Sure wish I would have started something sooner. This web site has been great to be able to hear how others with MS are doing and keeps me focused that this relapse WILL come to an end.

Anyone with info on the ABC's, please let me know.  Mae

I think this is a great web page. I found out about it from Pixie on SOIE. My wife talks on her line a lot and found out about this web site. I know it will be a lot of help to me and my wife I can't wait to get started.

You have so much to offer and we have so much to ask. I've had MS for three years now and I am as scared now as I was the day I found out I had it. But the more we find out about it the better I feel and the better I can deal with it.

Looking foward to learning more. I am sure it will help a lot of people.

I am also a recovering alcoholic and was diagnosed with MS shortly after getting sober. Have come to the conclusion that my MS was just another thing in my life to deal with. I have to be very careful with any drugs and prefer not to take any if I can manage without.

I am a musician - teach private piano & organ - head organist and choir accompanist at church - school accompanist.

So far I have been very fortunate to not have major vision or hand movement problems. It scares me though to imagine life without being able to play!

Music is a VERY important part of my life. Maybe that is my silver lining! My doctor is urging me to start Avonex.

Would love to hear from others on it and how severe the side effects are.
