Lesson Body/Sequence (40 minutes)
1. Have students turn on computers/Logon and open a web browsing
software. (Netscape, Explorer, etc.)
2. Have students type the following web address into the address

3. Read the directions with the students. Ask for questions.
4. Allow the students to begin the activity.
Accommodation
During the activity, students may be grouped into heterogeneous pairs.
(One low/LD with one average student or one high/gifted with one average
student.)

Collect the Hurricanes Web page question set typed by the students.
Use the grading rubric.
Closure (5 minutes)
Play a small portion of the hurricane video clip.
