NORWAY fire and rescue

In Norway search and rescue operations are led by the police. The police patches are not listed on this page however, as they are thoroughly listed under "law enforcement". Fire departments are part of the rescue services, and some departments have rescue ("redning") in the department's name and/or on the arm patches. Many fire departments have the responsibility of ambulance services in addition to fire and rescue. Click on the images to learn more.
