Pictures of Ghana
Justina and I made our first trip to Ghana in February 2001. The following pictures were taken in the town of Elmina, on the south-eastern coast. Elmina is home to two centuries-old trading forts, the largest of which was used by the Portuguese and the Dutch for the slave trade (among other things). Now they attract tourists (like us).
We also went to Kakum National Forest, where you can walk on rope bridges
up at forest-canopy level.
