A few pictures from Honduras




From April 2003 to April 2005 we lived in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.


The view from the porch off our bedroom. Note the tasteful way that the embassy decorators have strung cheerful loops of razor wire around the top of our bare brick wall, giving a kind of faux-prison effect. At least we have a view of some hills, though.

Sarah Swift was the first to come visit us, in July 2003...


...followed shortly thereafter by Dean and Jo Hoge, bearing a gift of a Nicaraguan rocking chair (some assembly required).


This is us at the Marine Ball in November 2003, the big fancy-dancy event of the Embassy's social calendar.


A common sight anywhere you go in Honduras.
