In 1973 Bruce M. Evensen opened Thomas Bruce Studio, Inc., in St. Petersburg, Florida, specializing in Elegant Portraits and Wedding Photography, Bruce has become the most awarded portrait photographer in Florida.
Bruce's entries at the Florida Professional Photographer's competition have won numerous First Place Awards, several Best of Show Awards and Kodak Gallery Awards of Excellence. He has had his images selected for the prestigious Professional Photographers of America Loan Collection as well as images displayed at the Epcot International Exposition.
Professional Degrees include Certified Photographer (C.F.P.), Florida Service Award (F.S.A.), Florida Degree of Photographic Excellence (F.D.P.E.), Master Photographer (M.Photog.) and Craftsman Degree (Cr.).
Bruce is a popular speaker at Professional Photography conventions and seminars where he has been invited to lecture throughtout Florida as well as around the United States at photography conventions and in Europe, Canada and Puerto Rico. He has also spoken at the Professional Photographers of America National Convention. Along with his many lectures at seminars and conventions he is also a National Judge and has jured many photographic competitions around the United States, Europe, Canada and Puerto Rico.
