Conformation

Along with all the other activities that mum and dad have let me participate in I also strut my stuff in the show ring.  My greatest show ring achievement came on New Year’s Eve 2000 where I won Best of Breed against 10 other Amstaffs.  My dad was showing me at the time and he sure was excited about my win but what can I say – I can turn on the style when I need to!!  This picture was taken by Paul May a professional photographer – pretty handsome huh??

Fancy Dress

I’m pretty convinced now that mum and dad think I’m a doll.  They love to dress me up and take photos.  The first fancy dress competition I went into was at the Qld Amstaff Club’s first fun day in October 2000.  Mum went out of her way and got me fitted out for a highland warrior outfit – kilt, sword, shield and all.  What a freak she is – but who cares coz I looked pretty darn handsome and best of all I won!  As if that wasn’t enough I then got entered into another fancy dress competition at the Qld Lure Coursing Association’s Fun Day in December 2001 where dad dressed me up as a scaffolder, with his scaffolding shirt, his footy shorts and tool belt.  Man that belt was heavy but I didn’t complain coz I looked pretty cool.  I didn’t win that competition but after that I was featured on Williams Scaffolding calendars for 2002.  The guys at dad’s work now call me the ‘scaffy’.
