Into the showring

At 8 months of age I entered my first show. I was pretty surprised that there were no other Amstaffs there but soon realised that this was going to be a regular occurrence as at the time (year 1999) there just weren’t a lot of people showing our breed.

It wasn’t before long that my breeder Sue started attending the shows with my sister Ashley who was from a litter six months after mine to the same sire and dam. Ashley and I just loved seeing each other and competing against each other as mum and Sue didn’t take the whole thing too seriously. The shows ended up being a real girl’s day out for all.

Australian Championship

I finally received my Australian Championship title at the age of 22 months (year 2000). Ashley received hers shortly thereafter. Mum allowed me to have a break from showing after that as it was then Fenrir’s turn.
