Here is my Pride and Joy. You would think that a deer like this would have some sort of story behind it, but nope. This Beast of deerdom came out of my blind side and slowly walked in front of me. He was in some thick brush, so i never really got a good look at his size. Before long he offered me a quartering away shot at 9 yards, and I took it. The angle was pretty sharp. The arrow entered in front of the last rib, and planted itself in the opposite shoulder. The massive shoulder stopped my arrow with no problem, and resulted in no exit wound. COnsidering i didnt have an exit wound, and i had to track blood on long grass, and pine needles....tracking was a little hard. But 100 yards later....he was down for the count. With out a doubt.....My 10th deer with a bow is also my biggest deer to date.
