MY VIEW ON RELIGION

Though I'm not religious in the denominational sense I do think about it in the philosophical sense - I certainly do not believe in a personal God who has emotions like anger and happiness. The onus of proof is upon those that claim to know the truth about something, including the truth about any deity. I can best describe myself as being Agnostic, meaning I do not know the answer . I am not an Atheist - by which I mean a person who does not believe in any type of God/Higher power etc. Claiming there is no god is as bad as claiming there is, either requires proof.

"The absence of Truth does not justify the presence of Fantasy. - moi"

I respect others beliefs in as far as those beliefs do not impinge upon my basic mental and physical 'rights' and lifestyle - which I might add are such to be mindful of their effects on others.

I am a Freethinker, in the sense of the famous mathematician and philosopher Bertrand Russell, and I have a deep side which delves into philosophical issues pertaining to many topics including religion and ethics and even cosmology.
