There are always people you meet in your life, a few, that have a really interesting connection with you. Leah is one of those people. I met Leah last fall, 2000, she was my other friend Sally's roommate on the same floor as me. At first I was a little apprehensive in getting to know her. She came off a little rough around the edges with a take no crap kind of outlook on life. Scary when I already have 300 other friends like that! But eventually things were cool and I realized we had a lot in common, despite her being a theatre major and me in finance. I'll be honest, she is the first one that I met in a theatre department that I liked in 5 years of college. Don't know what that means, but it's an interesting fact to say the least. Aside from a few friends who went to different schools and took a few theatre courses obviously. I have a lot of good stories to tell about her, but I don't have the space to write them all down. I think my favorite was our excursions to NoHo and when you, me and Ellen took the bus into town that time. I won't get into it, but I'll just say that there are a lot of interesting people that ride on busses. And when you have one wiseass (me) and two jokers sitting next to him, things can get really "colorful." Thanks for the fun. I'm glad we became good friends. See you soon. |
