Well darling, if you are reading this now you are probably saying to yourself, "where did you get that photo and why did you put it up?!" Hahahaha... Actually, I found it in my old picture box while hunting for some other stuff a few months ago. I thought that it would be a good thing to show the world so they can laugh at how big our hair was. This was taken a few months after Jodi and I first became friends, sometime in the fall of 1994. I had just turned 16 in July and we met through a mutual friend. Our mutual friend was actually trying to set us up on dates, but it didn't come through because the day I was supposed to go out with her was the day I went out with my former girlfriend. That relationship lasted till I graduated from highschool 2 years later. As you know from earlier info, Jodi is the one who introduced me to Ellen. Small world. She probably remembers the first time we met in person because I was sunburned from laying in my pool with no sunscreen. So picture this really tall skinny kid with big hair and a sunburn. Hahahahah... Back in the day... I also met her friend Sarah, who I will have pictures up of eventually also. Seven years (as of July 2001) is a long time ago for me. Since then, the two of us have grown a lot in our friendship. Jodi is the only person to date that could ever match me in a verbal battle or one of written letters (hehehe, the good old days as we call them). Friends like these don't come around everyday. I hope she thinks the same of me too. If there is one thing the two of us never had problems doing, it's talking. When we go out to lunch or dinner, we end up staying out for 4 hours or something. It's amusing to see her pager go off and her cell phone when people go look for her. Now you see why I don't own those things! It's fun though. |

This picture was taken in May of 1999 on the night that she moved out of her house in North Adams to move back home. It was one heck of a goodbye party and was the end of an era so to speak. A lot of our friends including Ellen used to go up to her house just about every Thursday in the summer when we were home from school. After having a few drinks, we would go dancing at our favorite dive, Brannings. That was a lot of fun and it is something we all miss. You'll find more pictures of this party on here later. I guess you could say that throughout our relationship we have gotten to know each other pretty well. I mean, yeah, there are some legendary quarrells between the two of us, but we never stopped being friends. If anything, those things in the past have only made our friendship stronger over time. Besides, as I said earlier, they are good to laugh about now that we are old. Well, shes not old, but I certainly am. Hahahah...So, thanks for being my friend throughout my life and even when you weren't, I always knew that eventually things would work themselves out. Just don't sign me up for magazine subscriptions or for the Killington Times (which I still get by the way) the next time you get mad... :) Love you lots. |
