IN THE FIELD OF LOST DREAMS

This is like the mirror of my heart that love may start,
Like lilies if the field and along lost streams of my mind,
And all the love I left behind.

Wow! I’m old and times around me have changed,
But my heart still aches when I think of you my friend,
And in the end we can begin again.

In a new way not of lost time.
A new day has dawned.

And when I think I’m lost,
I hear from you and it starts all over again.

Someday I’ll be home in your loving arms again.
In His lands meadows the Sego lilly grows.

Like the memories of my mind,
Flowing by like the stream of lost dreams.

Love is not lost to some dusty corner of my mind,
But it is still alive in my heart.

And peace and joy overflows,
With joy that covers my pain and loneliness,
That I face each morning I wake up,
And I’m not in your arms.

Like the Sego looked at like a weed,
But now highly priced.

So is my love in my heart,
When I dream of you my Sego lilly.

I highy praise your love,
And hope you feel the same way,
In your heart as mine,
May our love last forever.

As free as the wild Sego lilly.

So be my love,
I’ll be true to you my love and best friend.

Now I need you the most.
And I thank you for not leaving me.

You are my precious flower every hour.
I think of you and my dreams of our past,
Keeps me warm when I sleep.

My mind will always be,
In the field of lost dreams.

Next to the field of Sego lilies,
With the stream from my heart to yours.

And make our love,
As wild as the wild Sego lilies,
That make this lilly of the valley.

Hold our lost time in my lonely dreams.

All in the field of lost dreams.
Of a time that time had forgotten.

In a place of distant memories,
And memories to come.

FRIENDSHIP IS ?

Friendship is like the four seasons,
It is like warm sun shining on your face,
When it is true your not blue,
But without it, it is like cold ice on a winter’s day.

Should we stay or go? Who knows?

Friendship is like a ship on the open sea,
Going from port to port looking for a home of its own.

Sopmetimes it is so stormy you feel lost at sea,
Or in calmer waters you may starve.

And sometimes it is a feast,
A bounty of goodness for all to see.

Love me today and tomorrow shall come.

Friendship is like music,
With the right rhythm and song.

A tune to carry us all along,
As beautiful as a well seasoned villen?,
Or a burst of drums playing along.

People come from all around just to catch the beat.
Little children in the street can’t stop moving their feet.

Friendship is like learning to play a guitar,
Some got it and some don’t.

And others just don’t know what they got.

Friendship is like the sky.
Some days it is beautiful outdoors,
And other days it rains.

Some are like the stars above,
So bright and pretty, but out of reach.

Friendship is like money.
Some have more than they can spend,
And others don’t have enough to eat.

You got to earn trust, loyalty and love.
Til you get it, you don’t know what your  missing.
And once you get it you will have know others than a lover.?

Friendship is loyal to death.
Loving kindness to your end.

Peace and joy to your heart.
I need one, do you?

Sometimes I think they are all gone,
Or everyone has fled but you.
Don’t give up, someone is looking for you.

BE TRUE!

JUST AROUND THE CORNER

Party down and on and on, and then what?
You puke on yourself.

Is that all life is about?

If not, are you counting on the golden road?

How do you know?

Do you have faith? How much?
Where is your faith at?

We all go through life one way or lthe other.
We are so stoned we are numb inside.
Or we read a book (The book) and we are filled with joy and peace.

Something you can’t see or feel (but you know).

That my friend, is faith.

When you get tired of being out and about ,
And the head spins and the waking up
In a place you should not be in,
There is someone knocking at your door.

Now I don’t know everything but I have been there.
Look at where I am at!

We have no money to spend, car to drive, or house to live in.
Your clothes stink,
And you don’t know when they have last been cleaned,
Or when you are one step from being caught by the law.

Jesus loves you and no matter where you’ve been or done,
He knocks loud at your hearts door.

Life is all fun and games til you hit the wall,
And go to jail or prison for something you can’t remember doing.

So party down and on and on and on.  Then what?

Do you have a plan? What is it?

Your friends can’t support you for ever.
So party on dude! Then What?

GOD BLESS AMERICA

Lies, Lies, and sweet alibis.
In a world so cold and dark, sun shines on my window pane.
And yet it is too dark for them to see the light.
Roll on down the row and let freedom ring.

As they sin and praise God in hollow voice and cry empty tears.
Salvation is a one man act.

Then someone pulls the puppet strings.
As we dance the last dance and pray to an empty God so far above.

In an endless sea and a lazy dreamers dreams,
The games people play all night and day.

It’s cold out on a hot day. shouldn’t we pray
as the pink elephants dance to an endless tune?

Ring my bell and we may sail on a windless day.

I cry out in the night, but no one hears my cry,
Lies and alibis!

We pray in the empty streets that we call home.
No call can save the lonely and lost.

We pray til our knees bleed and our hands are numb.

Save the lost with all the salvation,
As long as the hat is passed.

Do you care? Should you? Why?

Let freedom ring as long as no one can tell you what to believe
And where you can sleep.

God bless America and let someone else do the dirty laundry.

We pay to be free as long as you don’t have to see
 the children of the night.

As we dance the last dance and pray
With open arms and closed minds.

We’re on the empty American dream,
And all that is not to be seen or talked about.

As another one goes hungry tonight,
And then we forget to pray somewhere in the month of May.
