The Game

The games of life are a matter of choices,
not a matter of force like divorce.

Some say the pain in the heart is not smart,
but you got to love from the start.

Some say that Justice will get the best of us.

In a game you can win, but you may loose a friend if love ends.
But if you break-up your soul may bind in the end.

Then again a new life may begin,
but if you marry and break up,
your new life may be in sin.

The cost of sin is the taste of death,
and it will take your breath.

This game you may feel pain, as blood pumps through your veins.

To love and to be in love, are two different things,
but weather will get you in the Hall of Fame.

If you lust today, it will only bring sorrow,
if there is no tomorrow.

So don’t play me and try to bring me down,
in this one horse town.

Don’t let someone catch you with your pants down,
everyone will think you get around.

Lost worlds are not for the birds,
keep to your standards and remember that,
small down values will not ruin you.

Some lost words we repeated yesterday,
when we played in the hay.

Don’t give in to a life of sin, and think. . .
“Well everyone else does it.”

The games people play may seem like it’s your choice,
to do as someone says, but the truth is that that choice will kill the best of us.

Love is not only for the bedroom,
even on mushrooms,

In the game of life we have to sacrifice,
but don’t do it if you got to live with a lie.

To lie to ones we love is not something you can wash away,
so get down and pray.

Remember its okay to say “No,”
not like this, I know how all that goes and now my only life was in sin,
and for me death entered in.

“For the love of God,” these words creep out of your lips,
but then you pray to see the light of day,
and then Gods steel voice shows you the right choice.

Don’t give up or give in to a life of fun and games,
God remembers your name and somewhere in the dark there’s a heavenly light.
