Short Explination

I don't really know why I wrote this one either. The phrase "sweeping shadows" sounded alluring and wouldn't leave my head...so I just started writing.

Sweet Darkness

Sweeping shadows
Cast your shade on me.
Conceal my lies
And hide my sorrows.
Sweet Darkness.
Embrace your daughter.
And kill the envious light.
Protect your children
Of the night.
