Nothing comes out right
so let me explain to you what I wrote
in the composition of my mind
The shades were drawn when i fell into bed
The sun beams burn my eyes
I stumble out of myself
and walked out of my room only
to notice it was still night
I closed my eyes and saw myself
spinning around under the throbbing light
hair set on fire as crimson as an engulfed match
the one which keeps the warmth in my heart
You are my light which keeps my soul from being dark
like the mingleling fireflys dancing in the moonlit park

I mixed the salt water with the warm fresh air
and realized i shouldn't care
I held your hand and feel you with me
even though all i see is your shadow
I'll follow you through hell and back but only as your shadow
because light is something that i lack
I'd swallow a thousand gloomy nights
To hold you just for one
