Little bit about me

First of all, thank you for visiting my personal homepage. My name is Tri Hartono Rianto. I was born in Jayapura, the eastest island in Indonesia. I am the third child of four brothers-sister. It reflects in my first name 'Tri' (Indonesian language) which has the same meaning as 'Three' in English language. Furthermore, I came from Madura family, where the late my father and my mother are from Sumenep (the name of an area in Madura island). Now, my mother, brother and sister are living in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia.

Since January 2001 to July 2002, I spent my life in Sydney, studying at University of Technology Sydney (UTS). It was the most exciting experience for me studying abroad. I was doing Master of Business in Accounting and Finance for one and a half years, and I finished my study in July-2002. Following that, I came back to my country, Indonesia, and implementing new knowledge I had got for Semen Gresik (a state cement company in Indonesia).

Through this homepage, I'd like also to say a high appreciation and thank you to Indonesian Government and Australian Government who have chosen me as one of others Indonesian AusAID Scholarship recipients, and also to my lecturers at UTS who have taught me.

Around twelve years working (since Jan 2^nd, 1995) at Semen Gresik, back to school again is a good way to refresh my knowledge, especially, in Accounting and Finance. Some new knowledge I have got from Accounting and Finance subjects. It is true that basic knowledge from undergraduate degree and my experience in Semen Gresik are also very helpful to understand and follow the subjects. Hence, I'd like to give my high appreciation and thank you to my lecturers in University of Surabaya and to my supervisors and colleagues in Semen Gresik, as well. My appreciation and thank you also for my teachers in my elementary schools (i.e. 'SD Giki II Darmo Surabaya', 'SD Pertiwi II Padang' and 'SD Bhayangkari Surabaya') and in my high schools (i.e. 'SMP Negeri 6 Surabaya' and 'SMA Negeri 2 Surabaya'), who had taught me good attitudes.
