02-23-1985 Guerilla Gardens Rock Theatre - Seattle, WA
Played with Husker Du and Limp Richerds.

" First up on the bill were the THROWN-UPS.  Lots of PSYCHEDELIC FURS guitar riffs,
but too much feed back.  Good band, I hope they come up to Vancouver sometime.
LIMP RICHARDS were the shits, I hope they never come up here,
worse than the BLUDGEONED PIGS."
- Ed Banger, Terminally Stupid #4

"The band dressed in garbage bags, cut to look like leather trousers. Fotheringham made up packets, filled them with whipped cream, and they were inserted in the band's pants. The highlight of the show came when the group shot the whipping cream out of their pants, 20 to 30 feet into the audience..
Band also brought raw oysters to throw at the audience if the reaction was negative.
The response turned out to be positive, but the band doused the crowd with the sea creatures anyway"

Thrown ups poster desingned by Judah

Ed "the Bloody Pooper" rigged a bottle of ketchup to a tube that expelled the condiment from the back of his pants.
The end result was a terrified audience covered in the substance.

10-31-1988 Moore Theatre - Seattle, WA
Played with That Petrol Emotion

"Ed was to begin the first song, alone on stage, singing in his low, sex-crazed voice, "The ladies love me."
Although expecting to be joined by the others, he was left alone on stage singing the line over and again,
looking nervously over his shoulder, while the rest hid and giggled"

"During the Thrown Ups' set, they used That Petrol Emotion's amplifiers.
They were playing at such an extreme volume that the roadies from That Petrol Emotion feared the Thrown Ups would blow the gear.
Midway through
the Thrown Ups' set, That Petrol Emotion's road crew appeared on-stage to turn the volume down."

04-XX-1989 Central  - Seattle, WA
..It's possible that date is actually 8.25.1989

They decided to be the dirtiest band in town, and after spraying themselves with shaken-up Pepsi, covered themselves in dirt.

"We were banned from the Central after that"

Played with Les Thugs and Blood Circus.

12-23-1990 Off Ramp - Seattle, WA
Played with Lubricated Goat (?)

"Ed wanted to dress up like the baby jesus and the rest of the band was supposed to be the three wise men (irony, eh?).
But Ed procrastinated and drank too much, so all the costumes and props were really lame.
We wore sheets with stupid paper hats and everyone thought we were KKK members (oops...).
Ed only managed to glue some cotton balls on a sawhorse to be a sheep.
And since he couldn't stand up, he hung all over the fake sheep and everybody thought he was humping it."
