Flight of Butterfly 

Fluttering paths left by gliding wings
Through dancing daffodils, sunbursts
Marvels of bitten blues, glazing greens,
Aquamaroon sparkles on leafy blades,
Wavering hesitantly between air eddies
Left side-tracked through its flight path:
Through jungles of pastel petals, lining
Columns of hanging, dangling leaves 
Lazily limping downward...kissing the
Ground!
     ...hovering through on wings blotted 
With paint splashes, circular contours
Of colored strokes woven through silky
Fabrics.    Intermixed sunset oranges,
Twilight purples, secretly blacks, 
Jaundiced yellows, ocean blues:
Intertwined.   Interchanged.  Woven
Through in silky wings.  Adrift on 
Air eddies, currently blowing the
Splotched canvass away...
    ...colored flight into the soul’s jungle:
Lined by empty thoughts, limping 
Lazily downward into a heart’s desires.
Blossoming radiance!  How it drifted
Into my soul, with colors of emotions
Intertwined, woven throughout: passion
Pleas, dreaming days, flirting firsts,
 And other sparkling delights - >          
Light my world with fluttering brilliance
Lifting my soul on your golden wings 
                  Of love...
