Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray oh lord my mind to rest
Please tell me why my life's a mess
If I should die before I wake
I might not have made such a terrible mistake
While up in heaven I look upon
what I once had but now is gone
A sleepy world so full of woe
How could I ever have let it go
What once was good
and could have been better
If only I'd have loved what really matters
