Sup Christ Side?! This months subject is here ta let you know that in the Body of Christ....AGE AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A NUMBER. Now, let's get started. #1, never let anybody, I mean anybody tell you that you are too young to seek Christ and/or spread the Gospel. That's right, not even ya mama. Peep this. I'm only 21 years old and yet I am the Youth Pastor for my church, that means I'm responsible for the spiritual growth of all the youth in my church all because my Pastor did not limit the vision for his church to restrictions of age. So instead of look'n at your age, look at your maturity level and recognize the areas you need to grow in. But never let yourself or anyone else limit you in Christ due to your age. David was only a young boy when he killed Galiath. No matter what, age just ain't a thang. #2 Develope a Hunger for the word of God. . The Bible is the weapon in which we have to destroy the unrelenting attacks of the devil. Therefore we have no choice but to equip ourselves with the truth and knowledge of the Bible. We are not too young to have an acute knowledge of the Bible. Make it a habit to study and learn from the Bible. I constantly have to think back to scripture so I don't make any big mistakes. The mind can be a terrible thing unless you fill it with the proper ideals. #3 The devil is scared of youth on fire for God! That's right we strike fear and panic in the Kindom of hell each and every time we make strides to fulfill our purpose in Christ. We young Sol'jas... Step up and take your place in Christ! The Devil runs scared when
we enter the scene...
Last but not least....Develop a stronger prayer life.
It's impossible, that's right I said impossible to become a strong Christ Side Soldier with out a constant prayer life. Neva too young to pray. Neva is there anything you can't pray about. Go to God with your heart open and he will fill it. Whatever the need.
So those are just a few things I had to deal with come'n up as a youth. There are plenty of obstacles but with God we'll make it through.
