In 1993 Anthony Henderson, Steve Howse, Stan Howse, Charles Scruggs, & Bryon Mcane hustled to enough money to get a one-way bus ride from Cleveland to Los Angelas to land there record deal with the founder of Ruthless Records Eazy-E. The next year they released there double platinum album "Creepin' On Ah Come Up". Which featured two hit songs "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" & "Foe The Luv of $". | |||||||
The next year they released there first full length album "East 1999 Eternal" which shocked the mainstream music industry when it hit number one on the billboard R&B & POP charts and sold more then five million records in its first few weeks in the U.S. alone. The chart toping "First of Tha Month" & "E.1999" helped with all that. But the bomb track Tha Crossroads made it happen, it even beat the Beatles record for fastest rising single on the HOT 100. The song also stayed at number one on the TOP 100 for seven weeks straight. | |||||||
Two years later they released the double disk "The Art of War", which went 4x platinum. "The Art of War" topped POP & R&B charts. Bone Thugs scored a platinum single "Look InTo My Eyez", & a gold follow up "If I Could Teach The World". The next year Bizzy Bone released "Heavens Movie", & Bone Thugs released "Bone Thugs ~N~ Harmony: The Collection Volume One", which featured there greatest hits from the last three albums. "Bone Thugs ~N~ HarmonyThe Collection Volume One" also came with a limited edition VHS, which featured nine videos, biography of Bone, meaning of each video, about the albums, & Body Rott Live. The collection is now platinum. The next year Krayzie Bone released his first solo "Thug Mentality", which went platinum due to the hit songs "Thug Mentalty" & "Paper". Thug Mentality later went double platinum. |
