DEEP PURPLE will play here for the third time! Di-Di Music announced that the legend of heavy rock, will perform the coming September in Lycabetus open air theater Athens on the 5th and on the 7th in "Theatro Gis" of Thessalonica.

ICED EARTH, who's next album "Horror Show" is about to be released, will gig once again in the "metalest" nation of the European continent (yes, that's where they recorded the "Alive In Athens" album !!!). The 2 gigs will take place in October the 6th in Lycabetus open air theater Athens and a day later in Ydrogeios club Thessalonica.
Finally JUDAS PRIEST will be present at Rockwave Fest 2001. We await the Metallian ... SAVATAGE will be with them. The dates are for the first 3 days of July. The metal day will be the first one. Last night (18/3/2001) while we were headbanging in the NEVERMORE/ANNIHILATOR gig (which by the way I say that was one of the best I've seen in my life so far), we learned that also MEGADETH are added to the billing of Rockwave. Finally DIMMU BORGIR are replaced by CRADLE OF FILTH (...damn...).ROTTING CHRIST and also LESS THAN HUMAN will be there. The event will take place in the Olympic stadium of Athens bicycle race stadium.
SKYCLAD: Martin Walkier has left the band to re-unite his old band SABBAT. We hope that this won't be another "shity" reunion and that SKYCLAD will find someone worthy to sing for them....
KING DIAMOND fucked up our hearing for good last night in Rodon, the man is one of the 5 best metal frontmen (but we knew that). The gig also contained a show dance in most of the songs by a female and ofcourse very sexy dancer. Anthems such as DRESSED IN WHITE, THE CANDLE, ABIGAIL, VOODOO, SLEEPLESS NIGHTS, NO PRESENTS FOR CHRISTMAS, THE FAMILY GHOST, WELCOME HOME, THE INVISIBLE GUESTS, THE EYE OF THE WITCH, BURN and many more (don't expect me right now to refer to the whole playlist, I 'm "dead" from the headbanging) made our nightmares more realistic. Also the man himself declared that his next album will be ABIGAIL 2, the continuation of the historic ABIGAIL of 1987. Thanks King till the next time.
Mr. Jack Frost will be the second guitarist of SAVATAGE. The new singer of the group is named Damond Jinuya, so once again the band consists of six players.
UWE LULIS has left the ranks of GRAVE DIGGER the new guitarist is MANNI former guitarist of RAGE. The new album of the band will be the homonymous one (The Grave Digger).
