Then play a second game, defeating the first foe but intentionally losing to the second. Choose Gokou again to continue the game. Then He is Now SSJ3! Unlock Additional Characters To unlock 5 additional characters, press UP, Triangle, DOWN, X, LEFT, L1, RIGHT, R1 at the title screen. If entered correctly, the title should read: "Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 27"! Rating: 10/10 Review: This game is a continuation of the DBZ fighting games which started with Super Butoden, but makes several improvements. The game features 22 base characters and five bonus characters. There is even a build up mode where you pick a fighter and gain levels by beating computer opponents. You can then take your built up character and duel with others built up players too! This game also features 3D stages with 2D characters. Unlike Butoden, the screen zooms out as you move away from each other rather than splitting. Also unlike Butoden, this game features dozens of CD quality speech samples for each character. Like the Super Nintendo games, this fighter includes the Budoukai mode, but once again breaking from tradition, the game gives you the option of doing a 16 player tournament, instead of just 8. The characters include SSJ Goku, Future Trunks, Vegeta, Piccolo, Chibi Trunks, Goten, Gotenks, Chibi Gohan, Cell, Buu, Majin Buu, Freeza, Android 16, Zarbon, and about 13 more! Rating: 9/10 Review: This game is yet another fighter in the long line of DBZ fighters, but this one is unique. Unlike traditional fighters, you and up to two other CPU controlled duke to out with up to three other CPU players. The controls in this game are very simple, yet effective. The backgrounds in this game are 3D with 2D rocks, trees, etc. The characters themselves are 2D, but don't look nearly as impressive as their counterparts in UB22. The game features story, VS, and tournament modes. For those of you who beat the game, a special "what if" battle mode awaits you. The characters include Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Nappa, Piccolo, Freeza, Cell, Android 16, Android 17, Android 18 and lots more. Dragonball Final Bout System: Playstation Type: Fighting Codes 3D Dodging When an enemy uses a large attack at close range just hold R1 and press down, doesn't matter what side you are on you will quickly move to the Right and Completly doge the attack, and this also leaves the Oppenent open. Alternate Costumes To wear alternate costumes, go to Training Mode or 2P Mode and simultaneously push SQUARE, X, CIRCLE while selecting a character. Bonus Fighters At the title screen, press Right, Left, Down, Up, Right, Left, Down, Up. You should hear a sound to confirm the code. Now start the game and you should have six more fighters. Goku's Spirit Bomb To use the spirit bomb chose regular Goku and go into battle. Press: Forward, Back, Down, Up, then Triangle. Goku will hold his hands over his head and charge up. This will take up half your ki power and only hurts bad guys (Piccolo but not Vegeta.) Play as Bebi Vagita (the Final Boss) To play as Super Bebi, hold Select and press Square at the character select screen, and hold until the match begins. When the match starts, you should be playing as Super Bebi. Play as Gogeta (Goku and Vegeta fused) To play as Gogeta you must beat the game on hard 20 times. After that, Gogeta should become a playable character. Play as SS4 Goku in the American Version At the title screen, press Triangle 5 times and Square 9 times. Play as Super Bebi Press select and square while choosing fighter Play in Super Bebi's level First beat the game with Gokou then after the credits at the title screen press triangle 5 times and X 9 times then you should get Gokou4. After that go to 2p mode and pick Gokou4 as 2p and pick whoever you want as 1p. Power Struggle When your opponent does the fireball press triangle, circle, and square right when you see a word flash then right in the middle of your opponent's fireball you will do the fireball back and as you are doing the fireball, press square alot of times and you will hit your opponent or he will still hit you if you do not press fast enough. Self-Destruct While playing as Vegeta or Majin Boo, press forward, back, down, up and the fireball button (default is triangle) to perform a self-destruct. This does massive damage to your opponent if it connects and takes away about half of your Ki power. Sound Test To enable Sound Test, press L1, L2, R1, R2 then Start at the title screen. Unlock all characters except the final boss (Japanese Version) At the title screen press: Right, Left, Down, Up, Right, Left, Down, Up. If done correctly you will hear a sound. Then press triagle 9 times and X 11 times after that you will hear the same sound. Wire Frame For wireframe characters, hold SELECT while choosing a fighter. Rating: 8/10 Review: This game is the first 3D DBZ Game. The controls are not very tight. This causes punches to sometimes take 2 seconds to happen on screen. Furthermore, pulling off combos is far too easy. The graphics are nice for a PSX game, but characters move sorta slow. This was one of three Dragonball games which came to America, its prety good. The dubbed voices are cool. Well, The game is pretty good but the others are better. And the rating seen above is rated for the Playstion games only. So don't think I like the nintendo or SNES games better. The characters you can choose from are Goku, Gohan, Piccolo,Trunks, Majin Vegeta, Bebi Vegeta, Freeza and more.
