Good Guys Z Fighters Name: Goku Race: Saiyan Abilities: Fly, Dragon Fist, Fusion, Spirit Bomb, Jan-Ken Punch, Kaioken, Kamehameha, Kiaiho, Oozaru, Renzoku Energy Dan, Shunkanido, Solar Flare, Zanzoken Goku is the most powerful character on the Dragonball series. He is good-natured, honest, and has a good heart. Goku is strongest of the Saiyajin, excluding his son Gohan and Brolli the legendary Super Saiyajin. Son Goku is the first to surpass all Super Saiyajin levels. He is determined to protect the Earth as well as the universe from the forces of all evil.   Name: Gohan Race: Human/Saiyan Abilities: Fly, Kamehameha, Masenko, Oozaru, Renzoku Energy Dan, Zanzoken Gohan is the son of Goku and Chi-Chi. He is very similar to his father and strong as all true Saiyans should be. He is the first to change into Super Saiyan 2 and was first trained by Piccolo. The training from Piccolo resulted in revealing Gohans true Saiyan powers.   Name: Piccolo Race: Namekian Abilities: Fly, Chonoryoku, Energy Dan, Eye Lazers, Kakusanyudokodan, Kyodaika, Makankosappo, Regeneration, Renzoku Energy Dan, Merging, Shogekiha, Tsuihidan, Zanzoken Piccolo is the second strongest being on the planet Earth. Piccolo was Goku's enemy, but later was forced to fight together against                                       Radditz which resulted in Piccolo joining Goku in the fight of evil. He was the one who trained Gohan to fight and reveal his hidden powers.   Name: Krillin Race: Human Abilities: Fly, Double Tsuihikidan, Fusenko, Fusion, Kakusandan, Kamehameha, Destructo Disk, Shishin No Ken, Solar Flare, Zanzoken Krillin is Goku best friend. They been friends since they trained together with Master Roshi. Krillin is the strongest Earthling to live on Earth and battles enemies that he comes across. When things get tough, he tries the be humorous to cheer everyone up. Name: Yamcha Race: Human Abilities: Fly, Kamehameha, Rogafufuken, Sokidan Yamcha is one of the few human fighters in DragonBall Z. He is usually accompanied by a little, flying cat named Puar and is a longtime friend and ally of Goku. Bulma has a big crust on him and wants to marry him, but Bulma's dream of marrying him was shattered when Yamcha was killed by one of the Saibamen that Vegeta and Nappa created. But later the DragonBall Z crew was sent off to the planet Namek to gather dragonballs so that they can wish all the people killed by Vegeta and Nappa. When they did, they finally wished everyone back including Yamcha and Bulma once again fell in love, but later on in the dragonball series, Bulma thinks that Yamcha is too much of a flirt and can't be loyal to her. Although he is not cheating on her, he gets caught by her in awkward situations so they break up. She then falls in love with Vegeta seeing how he is lonely. Vegeta is at first reluctant but eventually does become a family man and good hearted.   Name: Tien Race: Human (Eternal Child) Abilities: Fly, Dodonpa, Kamehameha, Kiai, Kikoho, Mafuba, Shiyoken, Solar Flare, Zanzoken Tien has three eyes as you can see from the picture, but only two of them work, I don't know what the third one is for. Tien was originally trained as an assassin under one of Master Roshi's rivals. But after a while, he realized that he did not want to be an assassin and join the Z fighters along with his best friend, Chaiotzu.   Name: Chiaotzu Race: Unknown Abilities: Fly, Chonoryoku, Dodonpa Not much information about this little white guy except that he's Tien's best friend and they usually fight together in battles. One of the battles they fought together was when Chiaotzu and Tien fought against the saiyans named Vegeta and Nappa. Chiaotzu threw himself on Nappa's back and self-destruct hoping to kill Nappa in the process, but it didn't work and he killed himself. Later he was wished back by the dragonballs.   Name: Yajirobe Race: Human Abilities: Cuts things with his sword, Eats Yajirobe is a good guy who eats a lot of food. He doesn't fight as much as others, in fact, he doesn't really fight at all. But when others really need him, he comes through and forces himself to save them.   Name: Vegeta Race: Saiyan Abilities: Big Bang Attack, Fly, Fusion, Galet Gun, Destructo Disk, Oozaru, Zanzoken Vegeta is a ruthless and deceiving saiyan. He is the prince of the planet Vegeta and was taken away from his kingdom by Frieza when he was young. It was Frieza that taught him how to be bad and turn to the side of evil. Vegeta was first introduced after Goku and Piccolo killed Raditz. He was accompanied by his companion Nappa who was also a saiyan. They came to Earth hoping to find the dragonballs so that they can wish for immortality. But when they came, the Z fighters were ready for battle and fought until Vegeta left. Vegeta later went to Namek hoping to find other dragonballs, but also knew that Frieza was there too. Vegita then join the Krillin and Gohan along with Goku to fight Frieza and save the universe. Vegeta later join the Z team, but still ruthless.   Name: Trunks Race: Human/Saiyan Abilities: Fly, Burning Attack, Finish Buster, Fusion, Kamehameha, Masenko, Renzoku Energy Dan, Zanzoken Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma, which is very odd since they have nothing at all in common. He first appeared when he went back in time to warn Goku and the Z Fighters about the Androids. When he went back in time, he met Frieza, which was in the process of destroying the Earth, but Trunks turned into a Super Saiyan and kill Frieza and King Cold (Frieza's father) without effort. This amazed the Z Fighters while they watched, but they never knew his name or who he was because it might prevent Bulma and Vegeta from having Trunks. He talked to Goku about the Androids and gave him a medicine that will help him cure the heart disease that he is going to get. More about him can be read in the Sagas.    Name: Dende Race: Namekian Abilities: Fly, Heal Dende is from planet Namek. Gohan and Krillin first met him while they were looking for the dragonballs on Namek. Dende has a large part in the Dragonball series and possesses healing power that were used during the fight of Frieza. He later replaces Kami as the guardian of the dragonballs on Earth.   Name: Nail Race: Namekian Abilities: Basically the same as Piccolo Nail is from the planet Namek and the is guardian of the Namek's eldest namek named Guru. He was later forced to fuse with piccolo after Frieza weaken him in a battle. Both Piccolo and nail fought against Frieza with increadible power.                                                  Normal People Name: Bulma Race: Human Bulma is a mechanical genius and can fix just about everything. She has been in the DragonBall series since the beginning and has helped Goku as well as everyone else in the journey to find the dragonballs and save the universe from the forces of evil. Bulma's attraction to good-looking guys and her attitude towards things that doesn't go her way make her one of the most annoying character in the series, but that's one of the things that makes the cartoon so popular. Even though Bulma gets in the way sometimes, she does manage to help the Z fighters prevent total destruction to the universe from the bad guys.   Name: Master Roshi Race: Human Master Roshi is very important to the Dragonaball series becuase he was the one that taught Goku and Krillin how to fight. He seems old and bald, but he is a truly a strong warrior. Master Roshi leaves in a house known as Kame's House on a little island that serves as a meeting place for the fighters.   Name: Chi-Chi Race: Human Chi-Chi is the wife of Goku and the mother of Gohan. She forces Gohan to keep his mind on studying instead of fighting. Chi-Chi doesn't look like she can beat up anyone, but once she gets ticked off, she is considered one of the most powerful woman on Earth.   Name: Ox-King Race: Human Ox-King is the father of Chi-Chi and is one of Master Roshi's best students. He is very powerful, but he played a bigger role in the Dragon Ball series.   Name: Kami Race: Namekian Kami is from the planet Namek who came to Earth and split into two entities. One good as in Kami, and one bad as in Piccolo. Since they were split, Kami and Piccolo are in some way connected to each other, so if one dies, the other does too. And if Kami dies, the dragon balls on Earth disappears because he was the one that created them. Kami lives on a floating tower high above the Earth and lives with Mr. Popo who helps him at certain times. They both watch over the Earth.   Name: Mr. Popo Race: ????? Mr. Popo is sort of like a servant to all the Guardians that will live on the floating tower. He has been there longer than Kami has and served many Guardians on Earth.   Name: Oolong Race: Shape Shifter (stuck as pig) Oolong is a talking pig that joined to team back in the DragonBall series. He has an ability to change shape, but only for a short amount of time. He played a much bigger part in DragonBall.   Name: Puar Race: Kangaroorat Puar is the companion to Yamcha and was introduced in DragonBall series along with Yamcha. He went to the same school as Oolong and also have the ability to change shapes, just for a longer period of time.   Name: Dr. Brief Race: Human Dr. Brief is the dad of Bulma. He is also the president of Capsule Corp, which makes small capsules that can turn into large and useful objects. This explains where Bulma get her technical genius.   Name: Korin Race: Cat Korin is a wise martial arts master that lives on a floating tower similar to the Kami's lookout. He grows magic Senzu beans that help the Z fighter heal every part of thier body once they are hurt.   Name: Baba Race: Human Baba is the sister to Master Roshi, and acts like a fortune teller. She carries around a magic crystal ball that can tell the present or the future which help the team somtimes.   Name: Guru Race: Namekian Guru is considered to be the eldest of all the Nameks, which make him father to all the Nameks. He created the dragon balls on the planet which played a large role when Krillin and Gohan came to find the balls to wish thier friends back. Guru was very weak from the strat and later died after the Z team beat Frieza on planet Namek. Bad Guys Name: Radditz Race: Saiyan Abilities: Fly, Zanzoken One of the few surviving Saiyans from Planet Vegeta's destruction, Radditz is a weak fighter compared to his brother, Goku during his arrival. He showed superior power but his carelessness got to him and that was his weakness. A huge mistake he made during the fight on Earth, was when he underestimated both Goku and Piccolo's power level. Radditz timely death happened when Goku held onto his arms in a full nelson and Piccolo pierced both Saiyans Chest with a Makkankosappo (Special Beam Cannon).   Name: Nappa Race: Saiyan Abilities: Fly, Bakuhatsuha, Saiko No Kogeki, Zanzoken Nappa, one of the lucky survivors of Planet Vegeta's explosion, is Prince Vegeta's teammate and friend. Clumsy as he is, Nappa showed great strength but intelligence of a cockroach. His foolish actions would get Vegeta angry whom he is incredibly afraid of. Nappa's death was caused by his teammate, Vegeta, when Goku nearly paralyzed Nappa with a Kaioken attack then seeking some help from his loyalty friend. However, arrogant as Vegeta is, Nappa was tossed in the air and was Big Bang Attacked into the next dimension. Name: Dodoria Race: Unknown Abilities: Fly, Zanzoken Dodoria wasn't a tough enough opponent for Vegeta in his time, but he gave Gohan, Krillin, and Dende a rough time. Although very self-confident with his ability, Dodoria tends to pink on the weaker opponents. Dodoria is averagely powerful in his time, but he was no match for the new and improved Vegeta from the rejuvenation tank. Name: Zarbon Race: Unknown Abilities: Fly, Transforming, Zanzoken Zarbon didn't play a big part in the Frieza saga but he was one of Frieza's top henchmen. Although, looking like a pretty-boy type, Zarbon has the ability to back up his nonchalant tactics. Somewhat like his lord, Frieza, Zarbon is able to transform into a second from. During this second stage, his muscles starts to bulge and swell making him very strong but slow (similar to an Ultra Super Saiyan). Long after his loyalty to Frieza, Zarbon is zapped into the next dimension by rival, Vegeta, in a fierce battle between the two.   Name: Ginyu Force Race: Unknown Abilities: Various Abilities The most powerful fighting force in the universe. The Ginyu Force consist of five very strong fighters (Burter, Recoome, Captain Ginyu, Jeice, and Guldo), each with a unique attack that can beat the opposing force. In DBZ, the Ginyu Force was called upon by Frieza to fight against the Z team and bring back the dragon balls. But once Goku cam along, the Ginyu force no longer seems to be as strong as you think. Their defeat is all because of the silliness of the group like choosing who fights by playing a game of rock, paper, scissors, or making pointless posses which just wastes time of the other time.   Name: Frieza Race: Changeling Abilities: Fly, Barrier, Daichiretsuzan, Death Ball, Eye Lazers, Freeza Beam, Kienzan, Renzokou Kikou Ha, Transforming, Zanzoken Frieza was one of the most powerful being in the universe of his time. He runs an alliance of criminals that kills all living life-forms on planets and then sell the planets to the highest bidder. Frieza was responsible for the first Super Saiyan to arrive and that was Goku after killing Krillin, Goku's best friend. Otherwise, Frieza is an outstanding force but his arrogance lead to his own defeat.   Name: Spice Boys Race: Unknown Abilities: Various Playing a very little role in the Garlic Jr Saga, but giving the saga a bit of an excitement to the short story. The Spice Boys are Garlic Jr's fighting force much like the Ginyu Force was Frieza's fighter force. The names of the team are very weird (Mustard, Spice, Salt, and Vinegar) very much like the Spice Girls. The team is somewhat strong, but follows orders from Garlic Jr since he is much more stronger.    Name: Garlic Jr Race: Makyo-Jin Abilities: Fly, Transforming, Zanzoken Both short and smart, Garlic Jr is evil and only wants to take over the universe. In some occasions, he has the ability to transform into a much stronger form, which gets all of it's energy from the Makyo Star. Another thing you should know about Garlic Jr is that he was granted immortality from the Eternal Dragon Shenron after collecting all seven dragon balls on Earth.   Name: King Cold Race: Changeling Abilities: Similar to Frieza The father of Frieza, both evil and elegant. Being much bigger than Frieza himself, but having lots of similarities. He later manages to die in the hands of Trunks without showing much of an appearance in the series. Not much is known about him.   Name: Dr. Gero Race: Human/Android Abilities: Barrier, Eye Lazers, Hikou, Power Absorbtion An evil scientist himself, Dr. Gero created the Androids (Androids #16, #17, #18, #19) which was intended to fight only Goku and no one else, but after the Androids killed Dr. Gero, they decided just to play around and destroy everything in it's path for fun. His creation has incredible strength and can destroy everything. Dr. Gero is also an Android himself, he ordered Android #19 to make him into an Android and make himself stronger and have an ability to repair himself whenever he needs to.   Name: Android #16 Race: Android Abilities: Hell's Flash, Hikou, Rocket Punch 1 The strongest of all the Androids, but never wants to fight unless it's absolutely necessary. Very nature loving and silent, and was never meant to be activated. After he fought Cell, Bulma gathered all of it's parts and reassembled it to make it fight for good instead of bad.   Name: Android #17 Race: Android Abilities: Barrier, Hikou The one who killed his own creator, Dr. Gero. He was created only to destroy Goku, but after he killed Dr. Gero, he do what he likes, but still has an urge to kill Goku whenever he feels like it. He has a twin sister, which is Android #18. They are very much similar except Android #17 is out of control and always wants to destroy everything.   Name: Android #18 Race: Android Abilities: Barrier, Hikou, Kienzan Android #18 is very similar to Android #17, in fact, they are twins. Although they are the same, #18 becomes more nicer and later marries Krillin after they wished her into being a human by the dragon balls.   Name: Android #19 Race: Android Abilities: Barrier, Eye Lazers, Hikou, Power Absorbtion Not very much is known about this guy, except for the obvious fact that he is fat. He helped Dr. Gero become an Android and sometimes doesn't know what he is doing.   Name: Cell Race: Android Abilities: Fly, Assimilation, Barrier, Cell Jr, Furiza Beam, KameHameHa, Kienzan, Kikoho, Makankosappo, Power Drain, Regeneration, Shunkanido, Taiyoken, Yell, Zanzoken Cell is the last and most dangerous android that Dr. Gero created. He was created as a experiment and contains the DNA of most of the Z Warriors, giving him the ability to use the same attacks that they use and much more. One of the biggest advantage he has is the ability to regenerate himself as well as absorbing energy from others using a long tail. Cell has three stages that he can transform into. He did this by absorbing the energy from the other Androids thus becoming the mighty "Perfect Cell."
