Born in Providence, a daughter of Agnes M. Gray and the later George I. Gray, she had been a lifelong Providence area resident. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church and a member of Seekers of the Word, a women's Bible study group.
She was an avid beach walker.
Besides her mother, she leaves two sons, James O. McNulty Jr., and Donald R. McNulty; a daughter, Kimberly A. McNulty; two brothers, George P. Gray and Richard J. Gray, and a sister, Nancy Champlin; and a grandchild.
