PETER ROBINSON:
BASS / GUITAR / VOCALS / ARRANGMENTS / SEQUENCING

Commenced formal bass studies with William Morton ( Victorian Symphony )
including performances in junior Orchestras and music workshops.
- Moving on to Jazz studies under Graeme Hall, Brian Brown, Graeme Lyall,
with performances at Jazz Center 44, Melbourne Town Hall, Arkaba ( S.A )
- One of the first Melbourne players to take up the Electric Bass, quickly
adapting to the ( then new ) popular Rock styles, gaining a position with
Melbourne's most famous Rock Band the Thunderbirds.
- A switch to Electric guitar and a two year stint with well known Sydney
T.V combo Ray Hoff and Offbeats, rounded out a musical apprenticeship
that was the spring board to the creation and formation of the Strangers.
Melbourne's best known and most highly respected group.
- Well known as a record producer, arranger, and session
musician in the 1960's and 1970's

Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and session musicians of the day
including Channel 9 and Channel 7 personell.

replacing Athol Guy until the group's split in 1990.
